Stethoscope Photo

A photo from during orientation for all the fledgling doctors. They've just been given new stethoscopes by the alumni organization.

Julia's third from right in the front row. Looking stunning. As always.

Laundry

Julia's new apartment was - to be kind - a mess when she arrived. There were no carpets, holes in the walls, and other assorted problems.

The original rental agreement included a preinstalled washer and dryer. If only things were that simple!

Prior to installing the washer/dryer combo, which was not done before Julia arrived, the work crew had to put in a new section of wall. For some reason, however, the rest of the hookup has not yet been completed. No pipes, no paint, no vent.

This problem was not communicated to the washer/dryer delivery guy, who brought the new appliances out today. He gave the neighbors the choice of drop off now or drop off next month. They opted for now and told him to leave Julia's too (yay!) but they're just sitting in the kitchen with nowhere to go.

Nobody has any idea when anyone will show up.

Julia needs to do laundry.

Julia has been WWAMI'ed!

Dear friends, family, and fans of Julia -

This blog will be a brief chronicle of Julia's med school experiences, as narrated to Mark. While the blog title is wwami'ed, this blog may as well be called, "what it's like to date a med student".

Tonight's thought: peach salsa and tuna, with tortillas.

Enjoy the trip.... and hang on to your seat.
